How it works
Lucid dreaming comes from three small habits. To Dream gives each one a place in your day.
Morning
Tap once and say what you remember. Your words are kept exactly as you said them, then turned into a journal entry with a title and the dream signs worth watching for.
Day
Gentle reminders ask you to pause, look around and ask: am I dreaming? Ordinary moments become your cues, and the habit carries into your sleep.
Night
Set an intention, then drift off to affirmations, ambient music and optional binaural beats, with a sleep timer so it fades out on its own.
Voice dream journal
Dreams slip away in minutes, and typing is the fastest way to lose one. Just speak. To Dream saves the recording the instant you start, so nothing is lost if you drift off mid sentence, and you can replay it whenever you like.
Each dream becomes a glass sphere in your monthly journal. Add how it felt, how clear it was, and whether you knew you were dreaming. All of it optional.

Dream analysis
Explore any dream through a perspective you choose. Each offers a way to reflect; you decide what fits your experience. Ancient analyses show the historical source they draw on when a matching passage exists.

Dream signs
The blue door. Your hands. A train with no tracks. To Dream pulls the recurring details out of your dreams and sorts them into shapes, actions, places and feelings, so the things that repeat become cues you can catch.

Practice
Five ordinary things to notice each day, picked fresh from hundreds. Tick each one when you spot it, ask yourself whether you are dreaming, and watch the streak grow. Every practice tool is free.

Nighttime audio
Dream Recall affirmations in your choice of voice, layered over ambient music, with optional binaural beats and a sleep timer that fades everything out once you are gone.

Privacy
Dreams are about as personal as it gets. Here is exactly what happens to yours.
Plans
No timed trial and no surprise paywalls. Your recordings and saved work stay yours, whatever you choose.

Questions
A lucid dream is one where you realise you are dreaming while it is happening. Remembering your dreams, noticing what tends to repeat in them, and checking during the day whether you might be dreaming are the habits most often used to make that moment more likely. To Dream is built around those three habits.
Your recordings are saved on your phone, and recording and playback never need the internet. Nothing is sent for transcription or dream analysis until you say yes, and you can turn that off in Settings at any time. The privacy policy explains exactly what is sent, to whom, and for how long it is kept.
Yes. Recording, playback, your whole journal, every practice tool and some nighttime audio are free with no time limit, and your first three dreams include transcription and dream signs, plus three dream analyses. Two optional memberships, Lucid and Insight, add more. Current prices are shown in the App Store and Google Play.
No app can promise that. Lucid dreaming takes practice and experiences vary. To Dream makes the practice easier to keep up.
No. Dream analysis in To Dream offers ways to reflect, and you decide what fits. It is not therapy, diagnosis or advice. If your dreams are troubling you, a doctor or counsellor is the right person to talk to.
No. There is nothing to sign up for and no email to give. Your journal lives on your phone.
