Digital Sticker Journaling: Decorate Your Pages
Why decorating a page is not just decoration
Junk journals and sticker spreads keep winning converts for a reason: some feelings do not want to be sentences. A storm cloud slapped across the corner of a page says something a paragraph cannot, and choosing it is its own small act of reflection.
Decoration also lowers the entry bar. On days when writing feels like too much, arranging three stickers is still journaling. The page got made, the mood got recorded, and the streak lived on.
Paper stickers versus digital ones
Paper is lovely and permanent, which is exactly its limitation: one placement, no undo, and your best stickers run out. Digital spreads let you nudge, resize, rotate, layer, and remove until the page feels right. In The Burrow the pages are hand drawn lined paper, so the result still reads as a cozy notebook rather than a slideshow.
Making a sticker spread in The Burrow
- Open a page and write a littleEven one line gives the spread an anchor. Pick a pen color that matches the day, or write in rainbow.
- Open the sticker trayThe Burrow pack comes included, hand drawn and a little mischievous. Themed packs like Chibi, Halloween, and Mechanical are there if you want to grow the collection.
- Place, resize, rotate, layerDrag stickers anywhere on the page. Corners, margins, straight over the text. Stack them for effect.
- Mark the moodA heart, a paw, a flower, a moon, a sun, a cloud. Or nothing. The page is yours.
- Save and revisitLayouts are preserved exactly, so flipping back through old pages feels like leafing through a finished scrapbook.
A gentle prompt to start
Tonight, make one page with one sentence and three stickers that describe the day better than the sentence does. That is the whole assignment, and it takes two minutes with your companion watching from the home screen.
